Parks in North London

Now the weather is improving and lockdown easing it’s a great time to enjoy your local park and green spaces. There are lots of benefits of spending time in nature, with studies showing that it boosts your mental and physical health.

Parks and Green Space in London 

17.99% of Greater London is designated as Public Open Space according to Greenspace Information for Greater London.

Islington, where the Stuart Low Trust activities are delivered, is very densely populated and has very little green space. It is the most densely populated local authority area in England and Wales, with 16,097 people per square km. This is almost triple the London average and more than 37 times the national average. (1) Only 13% of the borough’s land is green space, the second lowest proportion of any local authority in the country. (2)

So we have listed information green spaces in Islington as well as the surrounding boroughs.

Parks you can visit 

Please help to keep these spaces clean and safe for everyone by keeping a 2m distance where possible, washing your hands regularly and as soon as you get home and taking litter home with you where bins are full or not provided.
