London Friend are an LGBT Mental Health and Wellbeing charity. They promote the social, emotional, physical and sexual health and well-being of lesbian, gay and bisexual people, including transgender people who identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual and all those unsure of their sexuality. They offer counselling and support services which set out to explore issues of same-sex relationships, sexual identity and promote personal growth and self-confidence. They also provide social groups, and a safe space as an alternative place to meet and socialise.

Mosaic Trust support, educate and inspire young LGBT+ persons and those around them. They do this by providing accessible activities, programmes and services that aim to empower community members, provide essential resources, advocate for young LGBT+ rights, and embrace, promote and endorse the diversity of young persons.
Outcome: Islington Mind’s client-led LGBTQ+ service provide a sanctuary for LGBTQ+ people – somewhere safe where they can be themselves, socialise free from discrimination, receive therapies to improve their mental health, learn new skills and acquire knowledge to improve their quality of life.
