Marketing & Communications Officer 

10 hours per week 

Salary £8,257 (£28,900 FTE per annum pro rata)

 

The Stuart Low Trust (SLT) is a well-respected and award-winning charity based in Islington supporting people who isolated, experience mental health issues and live in poverty.SLT was founded to be radically different from other mental health charities – uniquely accessible, inclusive and community-embedded.

If you want to work at the heart of a charity in a small friendly team, promoting an innovative programme to promote mental health, wellbeing and inclusion, this is the job for you! You will be developing exciting new projects to serve Islington and surrounding boroughs in a culturally rich environment and vibrant voluntary sector. Working collaborativelywith SLT staff and volunteers, you will have a varied role to generate creative, engaging content, showcasing our work and driving increased engagement. You will be joining the organisation after a period of positive change with a new centre base, new collaborations, improved marketing & communications and impact measurement.

 

Who we are seeking 

This new post aims to enhance marketing and digital expertise in our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and communications roles to increase engagement and brand awareness. Educated to degree level or equivalent experience, you will be a multi-tasker, able to deliver marketing campaigns across social media, digital and in print.You will thrive on a challenge, and enjoy creative thinking and relationship-building. You will have awareness of mental health and be passionate about promoting social inclusion. It is desirable that you have experience in the community/charity sector, have graphic design skills and confident with CRM systems.
