Mark Gillham is SLT's new Chief Executive starting on 5 July 2022. Mark brings expertise from over 25 years' experience working in charities and mental health services in London. He has been in charity leadership roles for over 10 years, collaborating with other charities, the local Council, NHS services and local businesses. Read more
Stuart Low Trust is a community based charitable organisation. A tremendous amount of support is already given by volunteers & trustees to deliver events and services. As the event calendar grows, so will its need for talented, motivated and interested volunteers. The office could also benefit from volunteers in administration. Click here to find out more. In May 2022, SLT partnered with National Youth Theatre to pilot a new Arts project “Material World”. This project was specifically for young people aged 18-35, living with mental health issues or learning disabilities. Over a course of 6 weeks, participants learned about and explored the fashion of the Jubilee years, and key moments in theatre history. Click here to view our Gallery. Read more
Stuart Low Trust provides Nature visits to various different gardens, parks and reserves in London. These include London Wildlife Trust's Camley Street Natural Park, Mildmay Community Centre Gardens, Sunnyside Community Gardens, Freightliners Farm and Kew Gardens (and many more!). These visits bring together a diverse group of local people, they encourage learning and the cultivation of new skills, whilst spending time in beautiful environments in the outdoors. Read more
This Policy sets out SLT’s principles of Monitoring & Evaluation that will inform its future work. It explains why it is important to design evaluation processes that are accessible to a diverse group of participants, plus produce useful results. Meaningful evidence via Monitoring and Evaluation is vital in decision making as regards future activities, so that participants receive the activities that they request and that best support them.
