Opening
hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9.30 am – 4.45 pm
Tuesday (Women’s only day) 9.30 am – 2.30 pm
Thursday 9.30 am – 1.30 pm. Closed on all bank holidays
The centre provides a drop-in, a café, an internet café
which is also a training are for IT, a Creativity Centre for all Arts
& Crafts, a counselling service and a befriending scheme. The
centre is only open to Islington residents, unless they are visitors:
visitors cannot use the services they provide. The centre is open to
anyone with a mental health problem. Or they may be referred by a
GP/CPN/psychiatrist or self-refer.
Opening hours: Sunday 11 am – 5.30 pm (unless a bank holiday,
then
open till 7.30 pm)
Monday 11 am – 6 pm
Tuesday 11 am – 8 pm Wednesday – closed except for closed groups
(cooking 11 am – 2 pm, relaxation exercises 1 – 2 pm)

Open on bank holidays, including Christmas The centre provides a drop –
in, advice, groups & voluntary work.
Anyone can drop in but must be an Islington resident to join the groups.

The centre is open to Islingon and Camden residents for free, but
outside these boroughs you have to pay (done by borough services at a
fixed fee). They are open to people without a psychiatric diagnosis –
but they must have “mental/psychic pain”.
Opening hours: Monday – Friday 9 am – 4 pm Referral is by social worker/consultant psychiatrist, GP or any other mental health agency. The centre is only open to Islington residents. One has to have a psychiatric diagnosis.
Opening hours: Monday – Wednesday 9.30 am – 4.30 pm Thursday 10 am – 7.45 pm Friday 12 noon – 4.45 pm They are open to both Islington residents and outsiders. Referral needs to be fom GP, CPN or the Crisis team. The centre is only for African and Afro–Caribbean people with a psychiatric diagnosis.

It is open to Islington residents only, though very occasionally from Camden in special circumstances. Islington
residents only. They have and open access drop-in on Tuesday 10.30 am –
1 pm and Yoga, Wednesdays 2 pm – 3.30 pm, for which no referrals are
necessary. One must have a mental health problem, and a referral is
necessary for the rest of their services – from a health professional,
including a social worker. One must also either be on a low income or
unemployed.
Opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 10 am – 4.30 pm They cater for both Islington and non–Islington residents, no referral or psychiatric diagnosis is required. Fundamentally an ecological project.
Opening hours: 24/7/365 – 8 pm – 6 am
One must be an Islington resident to use it. One may self-refer or be
referred, but in either case they will contact one’s GP or psychiatrist
for information.

Open to Camden and Islington residents only – except for people who
have been using it for a long time. No referral necessary, and nor is
any psychiatric diagnosis – it is enough to be simply isolated

Opening Hours: Monday – Saturday, 5 p m – 9.45 pm.
One may phone and they will phone you back. One may also phone to arrange to go on to have an hour-long face-to-face session that same evening.

offices
where the community mental health teams are based, and where
psychiatrists and social workers can be found, as well as psychiatrists
and CPN’s (community psychiatric nurses). They are only open to
Islington residents.
Medical referral is essential, as is a psychiatric diagnosis.
