“Stuart Low Trust is a vital organisation helping people who feel marginalised elsewhere.”

“Coming here definitely saved the local PCT money in therapy/counselling – would need a lot more if I couldn’t do Stuart Low Trust activities.”

The following letter was received from a regular participant at our former Wellbeing Project

“Just a few lines to say thank you so much so very much for the well being project that has been set up at Hargrave School in Islington. It has been a God send to me at a very difficult time for me as I had just moved back to my flat I was hearing some really awful things voices and it was getting really intense at my flat. I have paranoid schizophrenia so I do tend to get frightened by the voices. It has been wonderful getting out at night to SLT wellbeing program while all of this has been going on some how it has helped me settle in to my flat and I go out other evenings to the theatre or a concert.

I have been joining in the Art Class which was fantastic and I hope it comes back again, the Shiatsu was also great for the fear I had been experiencing and I realised which was very important to me that I don’t have to fight with voices in my head.

I have also been having some really great meals as I haven’t really felt like cooking at home yet. And I have had with the wonderful Jo massage. I also joined in some of the singing with guitar and some drama. All have been fantastic and done lots for my well being and happiness.

I am now settled in my flat and have come to terms with things and voices. I know I can always get out at night now as I did not have confidence to go out in the evening even if it’s just to Mcdonalds for a Cappuccino. Thank you so much I think you are great.

All my love and thanks.”
