A trove of bric-a-brac, bibelots and objets d’art helped the Stuart Low Trust cruise to a record profit at our stall at the Angel Canal Festival on Sunday 3 September.
Our volunteer team handed out flyers and chatted about SLT’s work to visitors to the annual one-day festival, which is held around Islington’s City Road Lock and boasts an array of colourful attractions and events.
“There was a great spirit amongst the team” said SLT’s Volunteer Co-ordinator Ahmed Qazi. “We raised almost £250 which is really fantastic and up on last year’s total”.
Our grateful thanks to all those who donated items for sale at our stall.
